I have a large laser engraver. With the Mulberry leather I engrave the design and then rub in some black paint. I then quickly rub off the paint from the surface leather but at that stage its soaked into the engraving leaving a nice defined design.

Crikey, you are well tooled up

Looking forward to doing more with the Mog, I have a few ideas I want to try. I just enjoy making things !

Here are some corner protectors I made, next up is matching bonnet strap :-)

Nice work! If you apply a triangle of clear film paint protector on each bonnet corner it will prevent micro scratching of the paint.

A tip......to make the headrestraints easier to slide in and out put car wax on them. It will save the use of force and flying head restraints!
Re the bonnet corners...I took mine off as they were rubbing the paint. They are original Morgan ones but I may refit after softening them as they have hardened ( not regularly cleaned/refurbed by previous owners). Will fit rubbing strips on the cowl and check wing clearance.

Well toolled up and getting a new knob.......
Ooooh you are awful! But Ilike you.

You have the makings of a cottage industry there Bonesie, engraved leather accessories have potential. Just don't use the current Morgan Wings. They are vigorously protected by the factory and probably even more so now.

I do similar sort of work in my day to day job. I work from home so have opportunity to get sidetracked, and I easily am rofl

Yes, I did read that about the new logo. I certainly wouldn't sell anything with that on it. I did read they dont mind people using the old logo though ?

- please put my name down for a place at this party too innocent

only joking Bonesie - but ,as Dave mentions, you could certainly get some commissions from those examples.
