Hi Folks

So Ive managed to squeeze the MGB posts into the mog slots. The MG headrests are only a tad bigger so 15-20 minuted on the linisher shaves them down enough to squeeze in.

Here are my smaller headrests now fitted to the car. What do you think ? Ive added a band with plus 4 engraving for a bit of detail so they wouldnt look so plain.

Its not a 'pro' job but not bad for a first attempt and Im happy with the slimmer look that suits the seat better, imo.

The MG foams were a bit degraded so I might at some stage ( if I can be bothered ) re stuff to fill them out a bit better.

Wow Bonesie - you are going to have one heck of a car if you carry on like this!
The head restraints look great: in my view much more in keeping with the seats and far less obtrusive visually when pushed down onto the seat back. Perhaps the extra width helps here. Is it possible to adjust them height-wise for a taller driver or passenger?

Hi Rob

Many thanks indeed ! too kind.

They will slide up a bit but ive sat in the car and pushed my head back and it hits just above the centre so I dont need to do any adjusting wine

Looking forward to doing more with the Mog, I have a few ideas I want to try. I just enjoy making things !

Here are some corner protectors I made, next up is matching bonnet strap :-)

I have a large laser engraver. With the Mulberry leather I engrave the design and then rub in some black paint. I then quickly rub off the paint from the surface leather but at that stage its soaked into the engraving leaving a nice defined design.
