Hi all, I have a 2013 Plus 4, a couple of years ago I found a small hard black rubber pad in the footwell of my car (LHD) today I found one on the running board on the rhs. They measure 1 !/2"long by 1/2" wide, and 3/16ths thick with rounded ends. I cannot find where they have come from, any ideas please.

Has "Neoprene Man" been paying you a visit?!! They cannot be from a Morgan as usually such pads are there to prevent rattles.

Sounds a bit too obvious! Anyway, if so fit the old skateboard tape trick and chuck away the pedal rubbers.

Sorry I am totally ignorant with computers and have no idea how I put a photo on. Some have suggested they are the rubbers covers to the pedals this is not the case these are very small pads smooth on both sides and for those who don't understand 'proper' measurements they are 4cm X 1.8cm X 5mm, hard rubber, rounded at each corner.

On the assumption that they showed no traces of adhesive - and that they didn't come from the garage roof (!) - I would imagine that they were wedged between between two other components, perhaps under the dashboard, to prevent a rattle. I know that some people use pads similar in size between the sliding perspex windows in the side screens to prevent vibration but presumably that can't be the case in your instance?

Do you have the chassis rail covers in the footwell of your Mog
The reason I ask is that when I took my covers off to clean they were wedged with rubber pads similar to the ones you mention to stop them rattling against the chassis rail
