Down to Argos in Felxistowe to collect something. A lovely day for pottering along the seafront.

Down to Halfords for me, to get things for the pushbike. Their mechanics were interested to see the Morgan.

Dorking to Brighton and back this morning for a blast. Had a brief chat with a heavily tattooed, big bearded guy while stopped at some lights in Brighton. Complimented 'The Captain' smile

Roll on spring proper ! drive

180 mile round trip, with Lady HB again doing a great job codriving, to Bury St Edmunds and back to show Florence to the in laws (who loved her). Back roads, roof down going there and A14/A1 roof up coming back (big rain/hailstorms). V windy both ways. Love every bloomin’ second of it and smiled for the whole four hours spent in the car (with nice lunch in the golf club with the Chairman)!!!! Heater excellent when needed. I like being a part of the big boys gang.
Thank you HFS.

Jon, did you get there over the Abergwesyn mountain road. One of the best mountain roads in Wales?

Thanks chaps!

Ray, I took the road from Llandovery through Cilycwm, which is probably the easiest option!

I did look at the road from Tregaron a couple of weeks ago, but it was just too bumpy for me and the car... I'll have to try Abergwesyn at some point - haven't done that route since my parents drove us around there a few decades ago!

It's a fun road- done it many times by car and bike (one of the route options from my parents to Tregaron). Most fun was in a Carrera 4S (not mine, but a passenger), lifting a wheel on the Devils Staircase.

Do not attempt it if there's been heavy rain - the two bridges at the bottom of the Staircase flood. Thought I'd be clever once and tackled them in my S3 Land Rover. Hit the first bridge and went about 2ft sideways...... smile smile
