SteveH, when you buy your chain lube just check it says 'safe with O rings' that way it's safe to give the rubbers in the shackles a good soaking too, they are often the source of the squeak oops forgot to mention, do your shock absorber mount rubbers too

Steve, if you need to get your car up on a car lift. There is a garage in Culham near Abingdon, that rents out car lifts by the hour.
I used them when I fitted Wolf ‘s Skid plate to my car.
Friendly bunch. It just makes the job easier than crawling underneath the car.

I have greased the rear springs, so I think it might be the shock absorbers that are squeaky. Any comments please?
