Having followed recent threads in the "welcome Forum" from very enthusiastic new Morgan owners (particular thanks to HeadlessBlue for his in-depth narrative) …I feel we would be missing out on the experience if I didn’t share our own excitement, ahead of collecting our new-to-us 2014 Plus 4 on Friday coming. We are sooooooo excited and frankly have never felt this level of heightened anticipation with any other car we have bought. I guess it is a unique thing that is part of the Morgan experience. There’s an interesting little back story here for my wife & I…because when we first met all those years ago, one of the first conversations we had, revealed that her “dream car” was in fact a Morgan. She recounted how, as a young bank teller, her old Bank Manager boss would meet from time to time with an acquaintance who drove a Morgan… and ever since, she had dreamt of owning one. Back then in our 20’s …it was one of those conversations that we revisited from time to time over the years. And so to today…just a few days ahead of that dream becoming a reality, we have been reflecting on our journey together and just how symbolic taking ownership of our Morgan will be.  That probably sounds a bit gushy…but for us this marks another milestone, puts a tick in the “bucket list” box, and hopefully opens up a whole new chapter of fun and adventure. We really can’t wait! Enough of that fluffy stuff…suffice to say its been a long-held ambition to own a Morgan and come Friday it starts! WayHaaaaaay! - (spelling?)  Thanks to everyone so far for the advice given over the last few weeks and look forward to sharing our experiences as a new adventure begins. Roll on Friday.

Mac, brilliant news.
Some parallels with my life there.
Back in 1975 the present Mrs J was a bank teller working for Barclays in Worcester. I was working at the Path Lab at Worcester Royal Infirmary.
We drove over to the Morgan Factory one day for a look, in those days visits were incredibly informal.
We both wanted one, but all we could afford was Carolines early Hillman Imp.
Roll on to 2012 and we found ourself able to afford a Morgan, a dark blue 2009 Roadster. We changed it in 2014 to a 2014 +8 and still grin every time we take her out. Tarka is part of our life, I hope you new Mog becomes part of yours!
