2018 Roadster. Is there such a item as a front fog switch? Or is the same as the rear fog switch?
If different is there a part number?
Pictures?

Hi Ed,

As previously suggested the parts book as below is a little vague on this and not without errors.

Electrically the rear fog lights switch (34) is identical to the optional front one, and would guess they are one and the same part # E340037 as there isn't one specific to front foglight shown. Placing them one above the other could differentiate between front and rear as the illuminated icon would be the same.

There definetely is a front fog switch available at MMC, as i bought one for my 3.7 some time ago.

Wasn´t easy to find thgough, but exists (somewhere)!

Sorry for not having the parts no at hand....

It doesn´t matter how fast it becomes, but how it becomes fast. laugh2

If you don't have aircon the aircon switch can be adapted as a front fog switch.

I solved the problem by replacing the enter dashboard smile

Ed, I think the front is simple, just on/off, however a rear fog has to pass through some sort of latching relay so that when the car ign is switched off it de-energises the switch, so that when the ign is turned on again the rear fog will not still be on

As posted to Ed on another thread the switches are electrically the same, if indeed not exactly the same.

As can be seen below both front and rear command the BCU to supply the matching foglight(s) whilst increasing their LED icon brightness, but only when headlights are on.

I suspect in each case it's just a momentary switch that as you suggest, latches the foglight on or off.
