after been put away for the winter, we taxed our Roadster today, and gave it a run down the road, it was a great feeling getting back into it after a long 6 months, just cant wait for some nice sunny days to be out in it, having the MOT done and service later this week.

Mal,
Why put it away for the winter? You have missed all the lovely quiet winter driving days and, after all, it's only a car which will repay it's use by being far more reliable because of being regularly driven.
A by product is that you have a ready made excuse to go into the garage to fiddle and clean the beast.
Here for a good time not a long time!!

Billingham that's a stones throw away from me . Are you going up to Beamish mog do next to the Aston workshop . If so look out for a dirty red mog . My late mate had a blue + 4 red wire's ( Fiat 2L )KTY reg . Owned a BAKERY in Billingham . Used to go to Olivers Mount S/brough . Also a V12 E type before the mog a flat back wagon shot across the road as he was shifting and he went under the wagon , lucky it had a long bonnet as he was under it to the windscreen PHEW .
