2018 Roadster
I purchased a Moto-Lita wheel, boss, and Morgan horn button direct from Moto. Was told the boss would fit the car. Well it doesn’t! Here is the issue, the wheel that came with car has 4 steel dowel pins, approximately. .665 apart for the turn signals. The Moto boss is milled from a billet with a notch, no pins. The notch is only .335 wide so it is too small to fit the turn signal release. Moto has been NO help. Suggest I contact Morgan. Has any body fitted a Moto boss? What modifications did you have to make to have it work?
Thanks

There is a thread on here somewhere regarding fitting a MOMO boss to a Morgan where 4 pins had to be fitted to the boss in order to get the indicators to cancel. I have never heard of a problem with Moto Lita bosses however.

My Moto Lita boss had no pins. It just meant there was no self cancelling which wasn’t really a problem.

I had opened the Momo thread.
Regarding Motolita I had 4 Morgan with Motolita steering wheels. Two where fitted by the Morgan garage, two in the factory and all hat the function to stop the turn lights. I am sure here on TM is some help to recommend the right boss.

I had a MotaLita fitted from new on my 2009 4/4 Sport and everything worked as it should do, it was fitted by Williams the supplying dealer.

Sorry I can't help you but someone will be along soon that has encountered similar I'm sure.

I have had Moto Lita wheels on 3 Mogs.
For the first two they fitted to the old pre 97 boss.
On my 2006 Roadster it came like that from MMC.
In all cases the indicators worked.

Same here I'm afraid so sorry, no help at all. I guess the majority had our wheels fitted by dealers.

Try Hearts of England. They supply bosses, maybe they know.

Going off at a slight tangent, as is my wont, I have a Moto-Lita wheel on my 2015 4/4 and it is fine, especially in conjunction with a spacer.

My only complaint, which cannot I think be the fault of Moto-Lita, is that the horn button requires an absurd amount of force. Has anyone found a way of reducing this?
