Yes. Quick blast around the local country lanes to a little village cafe for breakfast. Unfortunately a normally 10 mile round trip ended up being 39 miles coz we, erm, got lost (slight fib). Beautiful top down weather with even cyclists shouting out how beautiful Florence is and sounding great with the spirts exhaust... happy times...

Yesterday me and Treacle went off to Chartwell to wander around Churchill's old gaf. Well worth a visit if you haven't been already.
By the time we left there was no need for a coat, hat or gloves it was so warm !

Beautiful day, had a great run there and back.

180 miles today, and 150 yesterday!

It's been a great long weekend, staying just on the edge of Malvern, going on the Factory Tour with a bunch of trouble-makers ( grin2 ), and just generally driving around enjoying the scenery.

Some of my iPhone pics of the Factory are here - more due to be uploaded soon!

Morgan Factory Tour

Oh, and my car has now clocked over 10,000 miles - I bought it in November with about 7300 on the clock...

- I was nervous about buying during the winter, but there do seem to be plenty of driving opportunities during this season!

100 mile round trip in dull but generally dry weather to visit the annual Vintage car rally hosted by the White Lion, Ufford,
just north of Ipswich.
An ecletic mix of pre and post war cars with a Classics section this year as well that I sneaked into innocent

Bentley, Lagonda, Riley, AC, Alvis, Healey and Delage to name just a few.

Bentley arriving

and chain driven ALF (American LeFrance) departing. Probably based on a circa WW1 fire engine. Love the drivers windscreen but don't let Kev see it wink

Morton in good company. Well the 541 was nice wink

Favourite saloon

and Roadster. This Healey had a Jag straight six fed by three 40 DCOE's. Another Healey behind

A beautifully turned out Delage...van

and finally something for the M3W owners

this was based on a classic Mini with the rear left hand arm salvaged complete with hydrolastic suspension to support the rear wheel.

Only mishap was driving over a 7 inch square block of wood that appeared dead centre in middle of road. No chance to brake or avoid and several clunk's as it navigated the underside but no damage seen. Good job my front valance hasn't arrived yet - phew!

134 mile round trip to Allon White breakfast and back. Top down and was chilly but heated seat, car heater and being well wrapped up sorted me out. A1, past the new bits where they’re trashing the countryside redoing the A14 and onto A421. Although dual carriageway all the way enjoyed the trip with big grin on my face like a slightly mad thing...

Over 100 miles today. Down past Cardigan for a cup of tea at the shire horse centre (Dyfed Shire Horse Farm). Then back up the coast road for a stroll along the seafront at Aberaeron. Went a bit further north after that, and took the turning for Tregaron, and then home.

74 miles round trip to and from FringeMog noggin near Huntingdon. Everyone v nice and welcoming. Roof down there but roof up coming back as it was raining pretty hard. Drips coming from the top of the windscreen in a couple of places and a seeming little pool of water on the drive tunnel near the handbrake. All things considered am quite happy with this as I know they all do that..... and the amount wasn’t enough to bother.... first time using the windscreen wipers and couldn’t help but laugh as each wipe caused a squeak that seemed to say “no, please don’t, you’re exhausting us”
