60 plus miles in and about the New Forest, along with the rest of the LogMog Centre. The best bit was at the end when we arrived at the pub to find a gathering of the Bean Car Club, all pre-war classics, many to drool over!! Here are a couple of Riley cars... One is a Lynx, I believe.... Anyway, a glorious day with sun most of the time, warm and great company.

74 miles round trip to and from FringeMog noggin near Huntingdon. Everyone v nice and welcoming. Roof down there but roof up coming back as it was raining pretty hard. Drips coming from the top of the windscreen in a couple of places and a seeming little pool of water on the drive tunnel near the handbrake. All things considered am quite happy with this as I know they all do that..... and the amount wasn’t enough to bother.... first time using the windscreen wipers and couldn’t help but laugh as each wipe caused a squeak that seemed to say “no, please don’t, you’re exhausting us” HB Just make sure that little drop by the handbrake isn’t dripping down over the back of the instruments!

Thanks John I would guess it was only about 6 or 7 drops worth and despite running a paper towel underneath the dash I couldn’t work out where it was coming from. I suspect it may rain when we go to Wales next week so I may have another opportunity to search around... HB

Favourite places for drips is around the bonnet hinge bracket and the wiper spindles.
Use Captain Tolleys creeping crack cure on the hinge bracket.

I've only done it in the other direction, on the way to Street to see friends. Meant to stop for some cheese at the bottom, but the lure of the road drove me on (and the car park was packed!).

Use Captain Tolleys creeping crack cure on the hinge bracket. I used clear silicon sealant & new gaskets on the washer stalks. I took out the hinge screws & used Ronseal wood sealant plus more clear silicon sealant. Check also that the washer hoses aren't leaking. MMC use cheap hose. I replaced mine & the t piece. Modern mogs have lots of nice electronics that don't like water.

Just a quick blast down to Felixstowe ferry via the petrol station. Had fun on the way back keeping up with a BMW M2 from a standing start on the A14.
