None of my 3 Morgan's have had anything other than a "normal" functioning horn and indicators associated with the Motalita wheel so I'm surprised really.

Just whip the centre out and adjust the spring if the pressure required is too great on the horn grin2.

Very strange....I found quite the opposite on my Moto Lita horn....too easy to sound it. When it wasn’t jumping out of the hub with every large bump that is!

My best hub was the one that Williams had made...it sits a bit further into the dash and covers the gap in the steering column shroud.

Here is the issue, the wheel that came with car has 4 steel dowel pins, approximately. .665 apart for the turn signals. The Moto boss is milled from a billet with a notch, no pins. The notch is only .335 wide so it is too small to fit the turn signal release. Moto has been NO help. Suggest I contact Morgan. Has any body fitted a Moto boss? What modifications did you have to make to have it work?
Thanks

Ed, I feel your pain as I had exactly the same issue with mine, had the boss on/off countless times, and eventually managed a bit of a bodge with some self amalgamating tape, but could not cure the annoying 'tick' in random turn positions, (moto lita tech were as much use as a cadburys fireguard) happened to mention it to MMC parts / AR dept when I was at the factory one day & was kindly issued with a specific 'ring' to slip over the back of the boss, sorted ! woohoo

I'm afraid no invoice, so can't quote you the part nr, but the lads in AR should know

I milled out the notch in the billet, added four dowel pins like the original wheel. Reinstalled no clicks, works fine!

Glad its sorted, but you should not have to go to those lengths, especially considering the high price ML charge for the boss swear

Not impressed with Moto-Lita Non-customer service. Nor the help I didn’t get from Morgan. I know things may be different overseas but here in the states I would have contacted who I made the purchased from and they would have solved the problem. I would not have been asked to contact a manufacturer and then asked to be patient under someone never calls me back.
What a way to run the show!

The first step should really be your dealer who should contact the factory. The cars are suppose to be sold with the standard factory wheel which is the one that is homologated....a rather unattractive and cheap leather rimmed wheel. The Moto Lita is an after market addition so I guess that’s why the factory tell you to contact the wheel manufacturer.

Not a good introduction to your ownership of a Morgan though and especially as you are over the other side of the pond.

"Whip it out"... I hear the voice of Kenneth Horne, and there's today's pun.

Anyway, it's rather a fiddly job with the nine long bolts (my wheel has a spacer) and one has to take great care not to lose any of the little nuts and the tiny lock washers.

In between dismantling and reassembly, I adjusted the two nuts that retain the horn button. I think this has made a marginal difference but short of replacing the amazing horn spring, which is a miniature piece of engineering art, there's not much to be done.

That’s want I am saying, purchased wheel from Moto Lita notFrom Morgan with the car. My issue is with Moto Lita for just turning the matter over to Morgan. Selling me wheel that would require modifications or an adapter. Telling me before I purchased it that it would fit the 2018 Roadster as long as it doesn’t have air bags!
