After about 40 years of waiting my Plus 4 starts in manufacture tomorrow.
Fair to say that I’m quite excited. Even more so when I take delivery in June.

Make sure you make a few factory visits and fully enjoy the experience.

A super exciting time!

I would say the time will soon pass.....but it won’t (just ask HeadlessBlue laugh2)

Can thoroughly recommend a factory visit, my dealer managed to time it so I could see my car in build. Would be worth talking to yours along similar lines if you’ve not organised this already.

Happy times just around the corner thumbs

Thanks all. Have indeed got a factory visit booked. However, with the factory shutdown and my travel commitments, it’s on Wednesday this week, so I don’t expect to see much more than a box of bits! Maybe a chassis if I’m lucky.....

HB, you may be surprised, when we visited to see our build last year we fell lucky as the chassis had only just been started that morning, so we hung around as the diff & 5 link rear susp went in, after a walk through the rest of the factory & a quick pie in the café, on our return to the chassis shop after the lads lunch break, the engine had already been dropped in thumbs

Look forward to hearing about your factory visit. Like Fat Wolfie (I suspect), having waited for so long for my Mog (and the general circumstances behind the purchase), I found actually seeing her for the first time in the flesh rather emotional to be honest and seemed to get a bit of dust in my eye for a few seconds (which I know is a bit silly but....). Material things as rule don’t impress or bother me but what a lifetimes ambition represents is, well, summat else entirely.
And, no, it doesn’t get any easier until you actually take home, tuck her up in bed, read her a bedtime story, and then get up the following day and realise you can do it all again. And the next day. And the next. And repeat....
