When I saw the title of this thread, I thought it might be a new specialist magazine.

Deejay, which Richbrook did you go for? Was it the “Touring” or the “Speed”model? I’ve seen both on various Mogs and can’t make up my mind. I saw at my local Mog dealer in the Touring pattern and with the correct gear pattern on top - unfortunately the price would have left without an arm and a leg. To add insult it was old stock, and looked it !!!

Sorry Deejay only just seen your second post. What are you offering to swap? Is it the whole gear knob or just the insert? I’d be happy to swap my wooden one, it’s walnut (I think) engraved with the 5UR - RDR pattern.

Got it from Rocksure in Kent for £28.94 inc £1.99 delivery. It came with 4 gear change decals. I was offering to swap the gear change decals only not the knob itself. I found that the decal on my original knob was showing wear, so even now I have a new one, it would be useful to have a spare for the future as they are an easy push fit to replace.

Very happy with my plain polished alloy richbrook one which appeared on the car between my test drive and me seeing it again a year later! It matches the Motolita and I can remember the pattern as 5rdr is the most natural for me as its what my manual cars have.
