Certainly will John. A good excuse to stock up on sausages and burgers, too!

....Passed an ivory white Morgan on the way along A40 with many waves between us. First time we have actually passed another moggie since we got Florence so made us v happy.... Happy days 👍 HB That Ivory Mog would have been me! You were coming up the hill into Bwlch as I was on the way down, if I remember right... Had a few days in Bath, including a visit to Williams. Will post a bit more later... PS - my “Sport White” car is almost identical to Ivory - indeed the original order form has “Ivory” on it!

Honestly Jon you made us soooo happy waving back! Tried flashing repeatedly as well coz I was so excited to see another Morgan at last whilst out in our own one but not sure if that was visible due the lightning speed I was driving at. Not really, Lady HB would have freaked if I’d gone any quicker... It’s the simple things in life ya know.... Best wishes HB

142 miles today - back to home from Bath.
Mog in Wiltshire by
Jonathan Jenkins, on Flickr Yesterday was also about 140 miles, from Bath to Compton Abbas, Old Sarum, and Laycock before getting back to Bath. Met up with Peter J at the Boscombe Down exhibition at Old Sarum, and even had a sit in Tarka! Very comfortable indeed.
Boscombe Down Aviation Collection by
Jonathan Jenkins, on Flickr Driving over to Bath on Tuesday, and after waving at HeadlessBlue outside Bwlch, a chap came up to have a chat as I was about to pay for petrol. Near Raglan I think. Apparently, he had imported a Morgan into Hong Kong in 1962, which he described had a Cosworth 105 engine. And in 1964, he drove a Mog across America…. On Weds, I took the car for some minor fettling by Williams - broken hood fixings, squeaks, etc - and took their little Mazda over to Westonbirt Arboretum. Lots of photos - still to be uploaded...

Nearly didn't happen today, headed west to meet another Morgan couple. Thought about a west Wales run.... mistake. Got as far as the out skirts of Carmathen, gridlock, same for friends on the A48 from Swansea, two hours later escaped into the country to find pub to have lunch.... Staying home next sunny bank holiday.
.+8 Now gone for a 1800 4/4. Duratec in bright yellow.

They both look superb, but particularly like Peter's which I believe is an MMC one off and seen in the flesh last year at BBMF visit. The Prosseco paint and tobacco? leather work so well

Ray.....we took Monty out. Decided to go inland and avoid Carmarthen. Traffic on M4 to Pont Abraham was very heavy. We were headed to Llyn Brianne to give Monty a decent walk. We went via Ammanford to avoid Cross Hands roundabout. Over to Llangadog on A4069 -traffic was light. Everyone must have headed West to Pembrokeshire! Llyn Brianne was quiet. Major Hydro electricworks under way below the dam. Road not affected. Offered to return via Abergwesyn.... declined Light lunch in Royal Oak in Rhandirmwyn. Returned via Sennybridge to Craig Y Nos. Coffee in the hotel garden then another Monty walk in the park. He had a good swim! Final stretch was via Cwmtwrch/Brynamman/Ammanford. Quiet day today with jobs to do. Sunday will be same....too much traffic about and will do local walks with Monty instead.

No point in venturing out on Bank Holidays down here it's always rammed, we have the rest of the year to enjoy it after all. It's good to see the city dwellers enjoying a bit of beach time and helping out the local businesses along the way.
