No point in venturing out on Bank Holidays down here it's always rammed, we have the rest of the year to enjoy it after all. It's good to see the city dwellers enjoying a bit of beach time and helping out the local businesses along the way.

Similarly, East Devon is absolutely rammed with holiday makers. Great to see, for the reasons given by Richard, but not a day for the Morgan. Glorious weather though.

Peter; its been years since I heard the term Grockle, made me laugh. We have the same problem here, the Grockle Invasion happens every weekend. The saying here is: Weekdays are for the locals Weekends are for the tourists.

We have the same problem here, from spring on the weekends are insane and we only go out on the roads reluctantly and if we do we aim to get on quite roads as soon as we can.
Last week end I nearly had a head on with a motorcyclist who was overtaking over an unbroken centre line in the town area at a speed that was close to Warp 1. I exited from a service station to find him right in front of me. Lucky for him I was looking in the right direction as I had already checked to see nothing was coming in my direction of travel.
He would have been in the wrong: dead wrong! A big bike at that speed may not have left me unscathed either. Something like that has the potential to really ruin your weekend.
Peter
