Anyone here own up to owning X100 MOG, one of the "100" Roadsters?

I ask, because on page 79 of the latest edition of Motor Punk the car is pictured sporting a very nice antique looking, but really quite modern grandfather clock mounted across the rack on the back. It sticks out about 18" each side....

The feature is entitled "Inappropriate Daily Drives"

This is a scan of the photo. It may be Copyright Performance Publishing Ltd.

Hi Peter,
We own said car(Frog Mog)Roadster 💯 number 31👍
Nola and I went out to collect a small table but came home with the clock, it’s a long story😂😂😂
However driving home across the New Forest from Lyndhurst to Lymington drew a lot of interest and turning of heads, I sent the photo into MotorPunk earlier this year in exchange for a MotorPunk window sticker which now has pride of place in our Defender 90 “Poor Old Larry” a great memory and we thought a worthy contender for inappropriate daily drives!!

It was a beautiful sunny summers afternoon and as we tried to negotiate our way out from the central car park in Lyndhurst someone shouted, “you can take your time on that corner” ha ha!!
It was just like the dawn chorus as other time related quips came from the pavement either side of us, had they never seen a well packed Morgan before?
As you might imagine this did nothing to help dampen Nola's already short fuse she was unconvinced of my loading/knot tying skills or my cavalier attitude of “it will be fine” and “let’s just get it on the back of the Morgan” as she again voiced her opinion on the situation, undeterred I switched off my listening devices, put my foot down and headed to Lymington 😂😂😂

I've carried bales of shavings in Tarka's rack, but nothing quite that wide!!

They are quite remarkable load carriers!

Thanks for the back story!

How about a regular photo series of "improbable Punk Loads" on a car?
