Just to say hello again (I was Wiscos) but haven't been able to login for ages as every time I tried to get a password reset I was told I was being sent an email but nothing ever arrived. I had to set-up a different email address to get round the problem.
Don't know if others have faced this bug in the admin but it's great to be back anyway.
My S3 is in rude health and nudging 20,000 miles now after nearly 11 years. Apart from the occasional 'click' from the starter motor and occasional losses of coolant the car is perfect, and still drives amazingly well.
I spoiled myself with a BMW M6 GranCoupe Competition spec (592 bhp) a year or so ago (shares the 4.4 V8 but goodness knows if anything internally is the same as the Aero 8) and while this thing is very fast once you get it wound up there is nothing quite like a normally aspirated V8 and a lighter weight. The traction in the BMW is pretty hopeless under lots of conditions whereas the Mog is always a delight. No question - weight is a big no-no when it comes to driving pleasure.
Combined with my M3W (chassis replaced last October) which has been a much more eventful ownership experience but still gives more joy than frustration) I remain a devoted Morganite. Tried a new 911 recently - very nice but just feels like a fast and lovely car - not like the Aero 8...
So - glad to be logged in once more and hello again to all of you!

Ha, I managed to lock myself out last year.
The password recovery did not work - and yes I had a valid email address in my account. My email to Simon vanished somewhere along the way and it wasn't until a couple of members here queried things that my password was reset.
So, you are not the only one where the password recovery mechanism failed.
Anyhow, welcome back! thumbs

Welcome back - time to get more miles on it.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Hi Neil
Sorry for taking a year to reply!
M3W is mostly fine but I really only use it for shortish trips at the moment.
It is huge fun when I do get it out, and nothing has broken...
Hope all good with you, even if it is a year on...

I had exactly the same problem a year or so back. Simon (TalkMorgan) reset my password eventually which allowed me to regain my account.
Welcome back smile
