Although it is not a rare Series II, it is in fact the only remaining AeroMax prototype/show car, the other 4.4L one having been written off last year (so this is the only one left in captivity!) and it was built to be exhibited at Villa d’Este in 2008 with the LifeCar. After this start in life it was re-registered with the famous and valuable - AR08 MMC - registration number and was driven by many motoring ‘rotters’ with probably the most famous test of an AeroMax being done by the late lamented “Drivers Republic’, see the video HERE:

And for our Continental friends an AUTOWEEK test with English sub-titles

This car was used by MMC, with a programmable development ZF-gearbox, to develop the road-going automatic gearbox for the AeroMax and other Aero’s. Before being sold by MMC the development gearbox was replaced with a brand new automatic gearbox.

The spec:
Costly extras include:
Liquid Mercury paint, a £10k extra on the AeroMax
Paint Protection Film
Muirhead Huntly - Distressed Black Leather with contrasting stitching
Perforated Leather Steering Wheel Top
Black Machine-turned dashboard
Side-exit exhausts
Becker Mexico with Sat-Nav/MP3-player/Aux-player/Bluetooth. Now a collector’s item in its own right!
Automatic gearbox, fitted new as detailed above
Fitted Centenary Luggage, made by a master craftsman in Leatherwork
Fitted Car Cover

AeroMax Spec:
4.8L BMW V8 – 367 bhp
Cruise Control
ABS/EBD/PAS
Airbags
AeroMax wheels
Brown Velvet Wood

Other Stuff:
Mileage approximately 22,000 miles
Miracle Detail – 85 hour detail
Recent Detail (March 2011) by Valet Magic
Shown at Goodwood as part of the Morgan Exhibition in 2009
Winner of the Centenary Concours – Aero Section in 2009
Exhibited by invitation - Wilton Supercar Day in 2009
Displayed at the NEC on the MSCC stand in 2009 (Centenary Year) representing the model

And many other showings/accolades too numerous to mention
Much photographed and admired car with a full history kept by the Morgan Historian, which can be made available to the purchaser
Serviced mainly by the factory, but a full service will be carried out by the Main Dealer before the actual sale

The sale details and the small print:
It will be for sale shortly at SGT - Morgan Dealer – contact Julian (Cutts) on: 01628 605353 or if you need his mobile please PM me.
£99,950.00 ONO

Finance can be arranged if required, as can a warranty. Providing the price is realised, the registration number will stay with the car.

This ‘Max is really a one-off and has been much loved by its present owner, so it must go to a good home. smile

A beautiful concourse car that anyone would be privileged to own.

It's no secret that Brian has a Super Sport and that I will join him as an owner very soon woohoo however, were it not for the lack of open roof I would certainly have bought Brians car (though I know he too likes roof off motoring and as such it wouldn't be for sale doh )

Good luck with the sale B, whoever the lucky buyer is will be a very happy man/woman.

Cheers

Yes, and I believe he is making a massive mistake selling this stunning Aeromax; which I have of course voiced to him. swmbo grin2

I hope it goes to a good home as it was a drive in this very car, with Chris Harris, that convinced me of just how special the Aeromax is.

Brian's example is a cherished one. When you consider the price against the Hammond car, I truly believe that someone will purchase not only a beautiful example but also a piece of MMC history at a price that is lower than it should be.

Hehe, I wish I could afford changing cars as often as you guys. I'd love to own that Aeromax. I like it better in the looks-department than the Super Sport.

It's a beautiful, beautiful car. smile

I agree! Its a better investment also IMHO but I would hate to buy a car as an investment as I would I'm sure somehiow resent driving it.

As I said before, if it werent for the fact that I love convertibles.....
