I am hoping your superior knowledge can guide me. I am looking to get some leather dye to cover the inevitable scrape marks on the driver's seat. I have Muirhead Mulberry leather i believe its a Jaguar colour but can't find the trim code anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try to ask to the factory, with your VIN.
Or, if you have it, in the build book (mine was written there. Not really a code but a name that was known to Muirhead)

If you give them the details they can look it up on their system.If this fails, you can send a small swatch (from e.g. under the seat) and they will colour match it.

What year is your car, i have some touch up that i used on a mulberry red interior, i can send you a small quantity to try.

If you send them a small sample of leather - maybe a loose bit from under a seat, Woolies will match it with a renovation kit.

If you would like to send me your address via a pm i will post a small bottle of it.Clean the area you want to treat and just dab a small amount on with a sponge, use a hairdryer to speed up the process between coats.I have done small bolster scuffs this way and the repair is invisible, if you want to do larger areas an airbrush gives an excellent finish
