I like the wheels and the colour but not the road tax!

You, sir, are a man of undeniable taste.
Saw that on line the other day and thought how stunning it looked - made me question my wheel and colour choices!
Smashing car, wish you many miles of smiles

Thank you, yes the colour took my eye too when I saw it. Surprised that we don't see more but I guess the dealers order what they sell and they sell what they order so round it goes. They seem to stick to the safer colours.
The road tax made me grimace too, but the man maths were helped by a few years at zero so I guess it levels out. Its what I told myself anyway!
Unfortunately they chose a hood cover rather than a tonneau, which I use a lot so I'll need to get one. Not made any easier by the factory not fitting any fasteners if it's not specified and the likelihood of having to remove the windscreen to do it. Silly really as they could fit them anyway.

Hi Steve, beautiful car! I have a colour close to that and 16" spokes. In hindsight, I'd rather have had the alloys, but I think it's quite a big job (and costly) to change... Otherwise, I would be glad to exchange wheels with you

Impressive car! I like the colour combination I think that the colour of the leather goes well with Chiltern Green. Unfortunately they chose a hood cover rather than a tonneau, which I use a lot so I'll need to get one. Not made any easier by the factory not fitting any fasteners if it's not specified and the likelihood of having to remove the windscreen to do it. Silly really as they could fit them anyway. The same thing happened with my order. I didn't order a hood cover and don't want to do without it anymore. Our dog loves it too ;-) The missing tonneau was made by the dealer. I don't think that the windshield had to be removed.

Dropping the windscreen out of the pillars is a pretty quick job as long as you are careful with the heated screen wires.

Never knew you had left Steve but welcome back with the Morgan. It's a funny old world but I clearly remember when you sold the last Morgan to get the Healey, you were so happy to have a car to play with and now you have lived with it the "modern" Morgan is back in favour. Sensible chap!!
Here for a good time not a long time!! Reg
