Just put in an order for one. Started to think about how the the number plate would look on such an mazing car and then remebered it has 'Motorcycle homologated' and only needed a plate on the back. And then had a cold shiver .... Oops, Do I need a full bike licence to drive one?

Passed the CBT a few years back for a scooter but nothing more than that.

No, a car license should suffice. Helmets are optional but recommended.

A full face visor is a good idea too

Thankyou for replies. It is a little confusing this 'homologated' phrase. I wonder if this is for the US market. If it is a motorcycle for emissions standards, vehicle licensing, safety standards etc, it was worth asking the question on the driving licence. Goggles Ahoy

No, it's the same thing in the UK, and if it had weighed in at less than 400kg it would be the same here in Denmark. Here in Denmark it would (assuming it had been lower in weight) it would have been registred as a "cabin scooter", hence no rules about crashtests, airbags or anything of the sort. It's like a motorcycle, only you could be driving it with a car license (the two wheels up front makes that possible around here).

Edit: Sorry, I didn't mean to say it wasn't an idea to ask the question or to say it wasn't confusing. It is, my "no" was relating to the US-remark.
I too found it confusing. Hell, I didn't even understand the word and had to look it up in a dictionary.

Great looking and sensible; however, I wonder how many would actually wear one in the 3-Wheeler

I have been looking into helmets for this reason. I wanted a nice looking one, and one I didn't react to (with my hypersensitivity). I figured that if those two aims were met I'd be more likely to wear a helmet.

Never really pondered full-faced helmets as I probably won't be racing the thing.

A bit too modern and 'styled' don't you think for the 3W?
