After a longer run with everything fully warmed up the tapping hasn't reappeared.. the 'waffle' at tickover is slightly different side to side but that's all..

I just saw the video & it surely sounds annoying.

-can it be from plugs, injectors, ecu ?

I just spoke to a car mechanic & he said it might be a tapet or pushrod.

We love the G56 exhaust for the combination of engine health and a nice noise...one noticeable feature vs the OEM pipes is that more/almost all of the combustion noise comes out of the back end so you can hear all the engine mechanical noise much more distinctly (esp standing at the front)...we get various tappings and rattles depending on how hot the engine and oil are.

It sounds to me like there is more overlap on the RH. But that is just a guess.
It must be something in the valve train to do with timing.

Does it smell richer on the RH?

Mine does it less.
I have roller rocker kit.

But
I know one which is doing it much more than mine.
I just assumed it was how his car sounds.

Who cares anyway.

You have roller rockers? Nice, didn’t know it was optional for the S&S.

Just catching up with TM again....

Anyhoo, I've had my G56 exhausts for longer than most and my RH pipe has always made this noise and I put it down to some mechanically generated vibration at the exhaust port - which I suspect is right. Clearly it's nothing to do with the G56 pipes themselves, other than this is not entirely unexpected from a nice, clean, straight-through design. As other have said, you don't notice it after a while though, which is probably due to terminal ear-drum damage from the rest of the cacophony that our tricycles make at speed....
