Howdy I'm really embarrassed to ask this...but being new to Morgan ownership, where do I position my jack to lift the front end of my Plus 4?  I'm nervously planning to undertake my first greasing of the kingpins and have bought a low profile trolley jack, axle stands, grease gun and grease, so I thought I was good to go until I looked underneath for the jacking point. Hmmmmm! I searched TM and came across some old postings which look to have provided pictures on this, but the pictures no longer display in the postings. To avoid me buckling something, busting the floor, warping the steering or worse...would anyone be able to help by posting pictures which clearly show where I need to position the jack in order to lift the front end...and where to position the axle stands. Any supporting narrative in words of one syllable would be appreciated too!  Sorry for being such a diddy...but I guess we all need to start somewhere. Many thanks in advance.  Cheers Mac

Wow! Now that's what you call a fast response...and exactly what I was after. Thanks so much Richard. I notice that alongside the picture, there's a comment that says " These jackpoints might not apply to cars made after 2004". As my Plus 4 is a 2014...has anything changed?
Any tips or pictures on the "greasing ceremony" welcome too.

Mac, the jacking arrangement on your car will be identical to the one pictured I guess they are being over cautious.
When you apply the grease make sure you are square on to the nipple otherwise you waste a lot and there is a real danger that some finds it's way onto the brake disc.
Just pump away until you see the old grease appearing between the springs and just wipe any excess off.

A Morgan can slip off a trolley jack very easily. I'd recommend making wooden sabots or beams for the front and back. Use something solid like oak. Mine are lined with neoprene. Search this forun for"Jacking" and you'll find a ton of advice.

Take care when wiping excess grease away on the off side, as the speedometer sensor is screwed in towards the brake disc at the rear of the stub axle, not easily seen, and as it is made from basically a hollow bolt, it is easily broken off.
Also, after greasing, if you have difficulty removing the grease nozzle from the nipple try fitting a “G-coupler” to your grease gun, available from Amazon or Ebay at around £20. It makes it so much easier; I wouldn’t be without one.

When you are using a trolley jack, remember that the car and jack have to roll relative to each other, so don't have the handbrake on. When the car is in the air, apply chocks to the rear wheels and use axle stands as Craig has done in his pictures.
An alternative to making a wooden lifting block is to use a rubber pad on the trolley jack, I use ice hockey pucks as they are very cheap and easy to get hold of.
