Wow, so sorry to hear this news Ken but that is an impressive response from you Phil.

I trust Morgan has provided support in this appalling situation as these vehicles really are proving to be a problem and not just in Australia...

the original repair was done by the Sydney Australia Morgan service agency.
the repair included a new slave cylinder, spigot bearings & Centa rubbers.
this time they are replacing both the master cylinder & the slave cylinder.
I drive the car carefully to avoid lugging & keep the rpm around 2800 minimum.
It seems something is out of alignment.
What do you recommend? will your Centa bearing kit solve the problem & how much will it cost? I have a good mechanic who specialises in MGs & vintage cars.
Regards, Ken Jones

Please keep us in touch with progress Ken.
I trust this is resolved soon as you have had a shocking run with this new M3W....

Ken ,

Did you go to Greg @ Cremone Prestige ? He recently did my pre-delivery work.

Just another thought, if you remove the bearings behind the clutch then please try to identify them from numbers etched on the races and let us all know, because they will be much cheaper from an industrial supplier than from the factory. Ian Brett is compiling an alternative supplier list for us. Not sure if he is on these pages - he should be.

I will second this thought! And emphasize the sticking together as a Clan, since MMC Corporate is sort of sketchy leaving the Dealers guessing whats going to happen next.
