After a great two days on the Skyline I arrived back in Upstate NY near exact 12 hours later. The drive was interrupted by the need for a battery change somewhere in NJ. Cruising at a steady 70 (Speedo said 81 but the gps does not lie) and all the instruments went down. Lucky, the exit was close and was able to pull into a Walmart parking lot. Was able to get the voltage to show 7 V so picked up a new battery and threw it in after checking fuses. The whole drive alternated between charge/discharge but was able to make it nonetheless.
My two days were awesome, great people and great drives. Let’s do Upstate NY when the leaves turn. Thanks to all who organized and kept the Rally going. After 12 hours in the M3W I need a shower.

I had to cut short after having left three dogs in our house for 13 hours (I didn't know they could hold it that long, but boy they were glad to see me) but I enjoyed seeing folks again and meeting a few new people. Lance was kind enough to sport me around in his Morgan so I left our Plus 8 parked at Skyland. Perfect weather. A few seconds of video here: https://youtu.be/ZpnGvqeuYrY

Awesome guys! Glad everyone enjoyed themselves!
I did manage to squeeze in a previously scheduled 1000 service on mine last week but otherwise spent it close to home. My son is doing a bit better and he's happy to have had some 'Dad TLC'.
