Ive been meaning to make a bonnet strap for the car since I got it but haven't found the time till this afternoon. This is my version. Although its fitted here its not in operation just yet as I want to buy some paint film to put on the car first. As you can see, instead of a buckle I have attached the sections of mine together with press studs. Each side can be undone independently. I also made it wide as I prefer that to a slim strap and I havent put anything on the back as I like them thinnish :-) Anyhoo, Hope you like it. Bonesie

BTW paint film protector - can be purchased very cheaply on line.

You might want to add some thick felt to the underside to protect your lovely paint.

Looks superb, but will pressing on the studs dent the bonnet?
The colour leather and the style of your belt really do look amazing on that black paint. It is as Richard says a work of art 👍🏻🍾
