It is rather strange that they insist that the chassis's are inspected before they provide the free spacer and yet they will charge you 50.00 for the same item if you fit it and do not have the chassis inspected first.

As I (and others) have said earlier on this topic, fatigue cracks in their infancy would not be visible in the early stages (even if the paint were to be removed), so the whole idea of visually inspecting each chassis before fitting the brace is purely academic.

By the way, MMC told me that if the chassis cracks it is "Not Dangerous"

It seems MMC change the rules as they go along.
I suggest you contact Steve Morris.

Wow, and that was back in 2015

Some of these early statements are amazing...

This is nothing to do with the chassis.

It refers to the camshaft drive sprocket bolt which is well known and a fix is availible from S&S.

I think you've made your point Oz, no need to keep dredging up every old post.

Sorry Chris that once again you are feeling uncomfortable.

It has been clear for some time that there are major safety issues and it is only now Morgan are properly addressing them.

There is a lot more to come of this. Sorry mate, it's not going away.

I'm sure you are going to carry on beating your drum Oz but it's really not helping anyone.

There are a growing number of M3W owners who are not posting about this important issue because they can't face the endlessly repetative negative comments from you.

If you have something relevent then great, but we all know your anti M3W views and your history with MMC so I repeat, simply dredging up old posts and highlighing comments out of context does not help in this case.

MMC are working through checks on the chassis and 2012 pedel boxes and it's useful to us owners to have as much pertinent info shared on this site as we can.

So sorry "mate" please refrain and let us get on with it..

@ OZ 4/4
we are all adults and make our own decisions. having a morgan!
so either you start writing helpful and constructive solutions, or "just shut up"! this forum is about joie de vivre and positive attitude.
your constant negative comments are neither helpful nor constructive. on the contrary!!!
