I keep seeing weight in this construction. I wonder how much weight? I am guessing about 2,000 lbs. But it could be more.

Thanks ! One of the reasons I choose the Duratec is due to the exhaust of the passanger side.

It is light, last weight 95% complete with all and half tank was 1433 LBS , 650 kg.

I had to fabricate my own clutch slave cylinder , the OEM one did not fit.

Floors , firewall alu skinned and fitted. Handbrake lever and gearlinkage fabrikated.

Coolingsystem is beeing built:

Wiringharness for the fuelinjection in a very early state , its been fitted with a Maxxecu injection/ignition system:

Fueltank fitted , I found a used original Morgan gas-cap that I used:

More work on he bodyparts , you can see that I "lowered" the fender/sill 40 mm and also lengthend the rear fenders,

Absolutely brilliant work, nice to see you are using safety retaining washers on the Rose joints too ( pretty sure I see them in a least a couple of photos) it’s a small but significant detail that many people miss when doing work like this. Attention details like those door hinges and the isolator key are the mark of a real craftsman too.
You are going to have one hell of a good car when you are finished. Well done 👍🏻
