Look at the smile on Henry's face in those long shots, the grin says it all.

rofl this made me laugh Stewart - think you’re dead right!

There’s a lot of car reviews (both text and YouTube) which seem to rely heavily on a regurgitation of the manufacturers sales blurb...Think the Autocar test is better than that but...

While I wish them well with it, i think its going to struggle at least initially, to satisfy anyone. For the traditionalists its both expensive and a tad too 'modern'. For the 'modernists' its too traditional looking and easily outperformed in several areas by a lot of cars in the price bracket. Hard to see it pleasing either and i'm definitely in the first camp. Time will tell though.

I enjoyed Henry Catchpoles review. It sounds like the kinda Morgan I might like in 5-10 years time (bearing in mind I've only actually owned my Plus 4 for less than 4 months so still at the swoon stage). Didn't like the sound, gear lever nor steering wheel but interested nonetheless.....well done Morgan 👍

You might well be right Steve but from what I’ve heard the order book is looking great already (might be spin)

There are some well heeled Morgan fans and with interest rates low, favourable European exchange rates, the usual Morgan solid residuals and a great engine, I think it might be a success

My only concern is the complexity of that engine for the Mog dealers and potential warranty issues with it being an all new model

That's good to hear Stewart and I do sincerely hope it's successful. I wonder how many need to be in the order book before its break even? The development costs must have been significant. I saw one at the factory last week, engine looks complicated but I did like the bonnet vents.

There was a comment in one of the articles mention £7m. In itself a big number but in context of the motor industry it is impressive. I really want it to be solid and reliable for this price point. I have no doubt some of the previous pain will have been fed into the process.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
