I (and others) will be at the factory on July 18th for a Plus 6 familiarisation day, this will include a half hour drive of the car. I shall travel to this in my 2018 Plus 8 (four hours each way). I should therefore have an objective comparison by the end of the day. I think it will be a great Morgan and yes it will have a boy racer soundtrack but is that not better than the buzz of electric motors? It wont be for everyone, and hopfuly not me, I'v injected enough capital into MMC for a while. I wish them a long and successful run with this platform, they have put a lot into it and I hope they get a lot out. The car look very nice at Dunston Hall, albeit I though they have under budgeted the seats.

Just wondering who believes the copywriters when Morgan say 'most dynamically capable'? :-)


Same copywriters that described the Aero GT as 'most extreme road going model' What made it extreme over the regular series 5? Oh, a few extra louvres in the front wings and knock off of the GT3 rear wings, stock engine and a ghosted 8 in the grille, some adjustable suspension but stock ARB's.

I would believe the description of 'most extreme road going model' if applied to the GTN

Agree on the Aero GT description, it was just a styling ‘extreme’ with a few aggressive louvres

What gets me on Plus Six descriptions is how stiff the chassis is

Ok we know it’s the stiffest Morgan chassis ever but HOW STIFF ?

Don’t know quite what that means

I’d tell the MMC copywriters to describe it as:

“So stiff you could hang a Bentley Bentayga full of motoring journalists off it cantilevered above a pool of hungry Great White Sharks and be very disappointed”

Disappointed because the journalists didn't fall off Stewart?

copywriting as well as footage photos are well taken bay underpaid journalists.

In the hurry for the first lines of text there is no time and money for test and travel.

Wonder when media landscape is going to shrink to quality again.
So I like the honest one on Youtube very much as anyone can see the experience is there...

If I still had a Roadster I'd be seriously interested in the +6.

If I had a spare £100k kicking about I'd be down to my local Morgan dealer before you could say "But that's our pension fund, what are we going to live on?"

Might have been asked before, but can the Plus 6 be specced with wire wheels?

Alloys look good on the Aero, but prefer wires on the trad shape.

Or does Morgan modernity mean they have gone the way of the gold standard and grease nipples?
