Had to run an errand. Should be an 8 mile round trip. Managed to become distracted and extended the journey to 26 miles.

We took Monty to Manorbier just West of Tenby. Parked in the beach car park. Had a paddle and Monty had a swim in the sea and a refresher/wash in a pool in the stream. Then on to Stackpole Quay for a light bite and a walk over to Barafundle Bay. Stunning scenery on the coastal path. Then back to Stackpole Quay, ice cream in the picnic garden. Got home before the traffic built up at Carmarthen. The bonnet extenders certainly seem to help reduce under bonnet temps too. The fan only came on a couple of times when in slow traffic despite the warm conditions.

Just over a 100 mile round trip to Barnards Farm to meet Anglemog. A lovely day out though the heavens opened on the return just before Ipswich so the last 15 miles or so were a tad damp.

Nice trip to Classic Motor Hub - saw a fellow Morgan on the way, and they was a good collection in the carpark....

we drove a rally tour with the '89 plus 4 today until no more clutch pedal…. to see the top of the clutch fork lever was broken ! wow , car has only 52K kilometers... ( Rover engine/gearbox ) …. this seems just a pressed metal piece… how is that possible ? Never heard of that kind of problem in 40 years with oldtimers ….

Nice day out in half sun, went to watch the Red arrows at the Swansea air show. Found a vantage point on a hill overlooking the bay, away from the reported 250000 spectators on the beach. From there to Swansea airport where to our delight there were two spitfire's and two Me 109s preparing to display, also a Catalina flying around awaiting his slot.Good closeup stuff, better than the show its self. Great afternoon out.
.+8 Now gone for a 1800 4/4. Duratec in bright yellow.

230ish miles today, back from Chichester. Took around 8 hours, with about 6 hours actual driving time I think. Nice day for topless driving though! Sidescreens on, plus hat for most of the way, and I also used earplugs some of the time. Yet again, I am pleasantly surprised at feeling no aches and pains after hours of driving with such a "solid" suspension. I do have the SSL upgrades front and rear, but it still bangs and crashes uncomfortably on rough road surfaces! Anyway, it was a great few days attending Goodwood for the first time....

Nice 242 mile run back from Kings Hill having been to FOS on Saturday and spending a few days with our family. Five and a half hours including a break at Wincanton the M3 A303 route for me every time, fairly congested at Stonehenge in the normal pinch points but an enjoyable run. Not long to wait for Revival My favourite car of the weekend, the masterfully brave Duncan Pittaway in The Beast of Turin. https://www.facebook.com/Goodwood.Revival/videos/721126388321455/
