Anyone noticed the chrome release lever by Morgan Park advertised in Miscellany ?

I can't post a link or photo as I can't find it on their website, but looks interesting & mine would benefit from more leverage

I'm very interested in this too having had several of the plastic ones break. Lubrication of the cable and associated bits very important - as important as kingpins perhaps ?

The problem is the right angled turn the cable makes under the rear wing - How one can get lubrication and/or rust protection to this area is exercising my thought having had a cable rust and break at that location -- anyone got any ideas? Replacing the cable is problematic as making the join to the actual release section of the cable requires a degree in Gynaecology to join the two through the seatbelt slot!!!!!

I think though it looks odd being so long. But anything is step up on the Marina door handle.

I shall be taking my quarter panels off soon to fit an extra pair of speakers, so will take the opportunity to oil everything on release from that end at least.

Or something very similar ebay handle
rofl

To ease pressure on cable and especially the crappy plastic handle when releasing, I simultaneously press down on the centre of the hood while flicking out the handle. I find it releases dead easy that way and I dont get any resistance so extending this parts life ?

I will have try that approach Bonesie. I look like Arnie each time I try and release the hood/plastic handle. Nice idea .
Hope it works for me or I’ll need to start having protein drinks to build up more muscle bulk....💪
