to dismantle the engine easily it is necessary that I modify the horizontal tube of the front frame so as not to disassemble the rack of direction to leave the engine horizontally

or make it removable.

4 Years and 8K miles ago I had the original compensator replaced with a Centa drive (by MMC for a negotiated price of £995).

The rubber rollers are now starting to disintegrate. Is it age-related or mileage-related or G56 Stage 1 related? Who knows!

I don't want to sound bitter, but obviously I need to address this which will involve me spending well over £1000 for a (long-term) solution.
The way these vehicles mop up money is insatiable. spend
I wouldn't be without it though! banghead

Ouch Andy
Only cost me about £30 for the new spec rollers two years ago but that doesn't include the cost of the tools, the engine crane or the hours I put in to do it...and it's a lot of hours.

My replacement rollers are now at 12,000 miles without any signs of breaking (fingers crossed). As you gave me a hand to do the change on my car I feel it's only fair to offer my assistance. I am sure it will be easier and quicker this time, learning from our experience. Understandable if you want a more "permanent solution", I think I would go for that as well if there were no time constraints. Strangely these problems always seem to occur when we are using the cars.

Bunny, have a word with Phil Bleazy. It looks like a better and cheaper option.

Are you chaps aware that Krazy Horse have developed a lifetime replacement for this issue? It replaces the whole centa drive unit.

Speak to Dan Sims there - he developed it. They had it on test for many months in their demo car with all the engine upgrades on. I've had one fitted to my MMC stage 3 engined car and no issues at all and also done 1 circuit race and a sprint so far with no problems. It basically a steel shaft and a BMW rubber donut in the assembly.
