I have to say I was quite perturbed by last nights episode.

Why take a rare car the the Matra and do that to it? And to the same extent, the Allegro estate. They have destroyed a one off rare Matra for a few cheap laughs. Ok, it’s still there at the end of the program but it’s no longer the car it once was.

Allegros are increasingly rare, and the one they had looked to be in remarkably good condition. It’s one thing taking an MOt failed snotter but neither of those cars seemed to fall into that category - plus the Matra, even if MOT failing, deserved preserving.

Very disappointed, shame on you BBC..

Rant mode off!

The RR bit was very enjoyable, a laugh out loud moment when Harris disappeared on the Brompton flicking the V’s at the Roller.

Will I watch again? Of course I will. But it doesn’t make me any more comfortable with the wonton destruction of rare cars.

Same old childish rubbish, all been done before...

I like the new set-up.
Taken for what it is.....lads having fun.
In my view there will never be a car prog to suit everyone. So....I will watch it until I get put off.
Now for some controversy....
Maybe a series dedicated to spanner wielding anoraks and diehards could be broadcast as a balance?

Some of you guys would possibly like project Binky on YouTube - but there again some of you are anti google so won't be able to bring yourselves to watch.

I watch a lot of car shows hardly any offend my sensibilities.

Clearly I have low standards!

All the Bad Obsession stuff is great. Who could not enjoy watching Nik make another of his brackets?

I am also enjoying their 'Howie Did It" programs, and the Motorhome/Race transporter converion is fascinating, although I can't help thinking they've got themselves into a project that may prove to be too big to complete
