I found this yesterday, returning to Tarka in the local Tesco carpark..... ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2019/07/10/IMG_0097.jpg) So, today, a short trip to MG Cannon. About £400 +VAT to repair and re-finish, with clear cote over the complete wing, plus replace the PPF on the front end. Irritating, but the consequence of using a Morgan as a daily drive. I'll also talk to Williams and see what they estimate. It might be less trouble to wait until the car goes up for MOT and Service in the Autumn.

That would be bad enough on your daily tintop, but on your Plus 8!!! Good luck in getting it sorted.

I seem to be able to be philosophical about it. No damage to the wing..it is simply irritating.

Very very upsetting indeed , I would at this point lose all faith in humanity if I had any to begin with . What is it with people who do this sort of mindless vandalism . Do they have cctv at the car park - worth a try ?

Try Chips away - they did a brilliant job on my Fiesta - twice- and reasonable cost.

It could even have been caused by an abandoned trolley, I have seen this happen in Sainsbury's in Dartmouth more than once when the Yummy with a tractor full of brats just lets the trolley go. As there is a gradual slope the obvious happens and anything it encounters on the way downhill gets clobbered.

It is sickening when this sort of thing happens to your cherished vehicle. Some people just don’t give a damn. I was sitting in the car recently in a not too busy car park, and this very old couple parked next to me and when the driver opened their door he struggled to get out and let it swing into the side of my car marking the paintwork. When I wound the window down the chap didn’t even acknowledge me when I pointed out the damage. I said I wanted him to pay for repair and he became agitated so I said I will call the Police. He soon changed his stance and I took photographs and he gave me his details. He did pay for the damage personally but would he have owned up if I wasn’t present? .........I doubt it somehow.

Really sorry to see that. To me there's no excuse, surley someone must know they've done it, unfortunately I think all too common these days. You are certainly taking it a lot better than I would have, at least the wing isn't damaged, just your wallet. Good luck with the repair.
