I wonder how the new Plus Six performed in the crash test i.e. what NCAP star rating it achieved?

Borghi has just written to invite customers to the Italian launch on the 15th July and is offering a limited number of test drives. Probably the same car as our dealer had yesterday. They told me it was 'on tour' in Europe for test days at dealerships.

Just had a weekend away with YM and had a good look at some newish well specced Plus 4's and Roadsters including a couple of 110 anniversary cars.
Want to like the Plus 6, but the aesthetics (if not the underpinnings) of the classics are superior to my eyes - hope they continue.

Mark I thought the Euro NCAP tests were not mandatory, so with the high costs involved I assume MMC won't offer it for testing

i'm afraid this is no longer the trad we so much love to rev through it's gears…. 150HP was and is enough , sure with todays speeds limits. I hope for MMC the best , but in the 100K price range there are …. cars.

Mark I thought the Euro NCAP tests were not mandatory, so with the high costs involved I assume MMC won't offer it for testing I think Morgan uses the small series manufacturer exemptions that are limited to 500 units. There were moves to reduce this to 50 units but obviously that has not happened. Under these rules the vehicles are homologated using engineers certificates. I believe Lotus use this system on some of their models too.
