Update... Morgan has put a sample of the “new” leather in the mail. I should have it in a few days. Once I approve a color match, they’ll be making and shipping new backs and bases. Looks like it might “only” have taken as long as an average human gestational period, lol. 😂

You could say that. I have lost count of the number of faults that had to be put right, but they include new clutch, paint issues, indicator issues and oil leek just to start with, so the seats just seem par for the course. To be fair the faults have been put right with no complaints, but these are supposed to be premium cars and are bought as expensive automotive toys so should be right.
Regarding the seats, the quality of the leather that is now used was discussed and pointed out to me that it is not as it used to be.
So to see how Morgan treat American customers will be interesting, I have gone back and had another look at my repaired seats and there is still a white bit at the very bottom of the backrest, not a place that would be affected by getting in and out. That's quite a list Andrewwmcc, and you do raise an interesting point regarding US customers and the reason for the problems.

My new seats ( bottoms and backs) are at my dealers. I’m going to pick them up this week with my Saabaru and install them myself.

New seats have actual lumbar support !!! Just installed them. Guess the old set is for sale.
