Richard of Unstone,

Talk with Billy Bellinger at JB Sports Engineering , he has parts for some 3HA and most 7HA axles.

Yep, Billy's yer man. Get him to rebuild it with a Quaife ATB diff and a 12 tooth pinion to give. 4.1:1 ratio. Gives a 4/4 a much sportier feel than the 3.7 (13 tooth pinion).

If You lived in Western U.S. I would use the Hot Rod shops. For example on My +8 Bitsa I used a Chevy S10 pickup rear axle. A HotRod shop could cut it down to fit Your 4/4. Come to think of it there is a Morgan 4/4 Owner South of Me that uses a Triumph axle and has for years. A MGB axle will work. Even a Toyota Rear axle will do the job. I know one but He uses Willwood Disk Brakes. How ever if You want to do it "RIGHT" have Billy Bellinger at JB Sports Engineering do the job.
