Great write-up Doug and certainly not boring! All we need now are photos of all the cars and our joy will be complete... B

Thanks for the welcome. About three hours away from Le Mans. Had a once in a lifetime experience there in 1994. A full pass, including meals, from a French doctor friend who used to volunteer at the race. The bonus was a hot lap with our friend right before the race, driven by the head of the medical staff, an ex Porsche driver whose name escapes me now. What a memory!! Regards, Doug

Dave, you beat me to it. BRM and Porsche 917 driver, Le Mans winner and more recently big mate of the Red Bull moneyman Dietrich Mateschitz IIRC he lost an eye driving at the French Grand Prix Cheers, G

Welcome Doug and thank you for taking the time to provide us with such an interesting insight into how you've arrived at Morgan ownership; as others have said, a very interesting read. I wish you many happy miles behind the wheel - as you've mentioned, the roads in Bretagne are ideal.

Pulled out the program and it was Dr. Loïc TIENGOU, who I believe was a neurosurgeon in Vannes. Don't know what at what level he raced, but he sure knew his way around Le Mans in that turbo Peugeot medical vehicle. Doug
