Like the others, I am pleased to read that you have recovered from your fall, it can indeed be a wake up call that those of a certain age, myself included, really should take a bit more care, though in truth I can be a tad reckless at times...

Looking at all the replies I hope that there are no Morgan insurers reading this or we may find ever more questions on our request to renew..

Perhaps new Morgans should come with a handy pill safe built in for blood thinning pills and the like which it seems a very high percentage of the population over 60 or so seem to be on these days... Yeah...me too

Sorry to read of your mishap but delighted that it seems no serious damage done.
Unfortunately as I've found out getting older is not always fun but at least its better than the alternative.

Please don’t stint the painkillers- you really do not want to trigger a spasm.

Ibuprofen orally and the 10% Gell applied externally is keeping the pain away, unless I cough or breath deeply. So yesterday I drove to Prescott to take part in the "Thrill on the Hill" exercise.
Probably not what the Doctor would have suggested, but it was fine: once in the car it was remarkably comfortable.
Driving up the hill I found the corners a bit painful when sideways G was applied to me so my right side was pressed into the sear bolster.

Getting into the car with the hood up was another matter, but the downpour in the early afternoon meant that the return journey was mostly "hood up".
With some internal liquid painkiller (red wine) I slept well and it is clear that as the massive bruise comes out the pain level is less.
So tomorrow I'd driving to York, a business trip. I need the money to allow me to but toys....the toys allow me to enjoy life. Our retirement fund is tightly managed by the Financial Controller, A.K.A

Wednesday I am skiing (spending the kids inheritance) on heated seats at Allon White. But Senior Management made a comment last week to someone who asked if we had seen the +6 & wanted one that " we need to let MMC sort the bugs out in the first year". I live in hope!
