Possibly a dodgy indicator module Morgan Part No E340098

Some similarities to parts of this thread http://www.talkmorgan.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/517471/1 particularly the second post on page 2

Just a thought - As a diagnostic , charge up your old Banner ( which should hold charge long enough for a quick test ) and refit it to see what happens.

Just wondering if this would eliminate your new battery in this weird other stuff with indicators?
If the wierd stuff continues , its not your new battery at fault

Agreed Rog G, it does sound like the same sort of problem and they do have some history of failure.

Unfortunately I recycled the old Banner battery, so it's not available for testing.

Polar I have the immobiliser & my original 6 year Banner battery will still start the car after 3 weeks. If doing any more electrical tests or swapping out battery always remove the earth first, connect your meter etc & reconnect earth last. This avoids any pyrotechnics should the positive touch any metal parts.

but the spark is always so much fun, especially if you have friends standing there watching you work

So here's the update:

Antigravity, the battery manufacturer, thinks there may be a problem with the battery I purchased. They are exchanging it for a heavy duty lithium battery. In the meantime, my dealer has ordered me a new turn signal module. When the new module arrives, I will bring the car to the dealership to have it installed and have them check the electrical connections for any parasitic draw on the battery, and any potential shorts.

The new battery that Antigravity is recommending is their ATX-20HD.

Hopefully the new battery works out for me.

How did the new AntiGravity battery work out? Did you get the ATX20HD?
