I'm looking forward to reading my second one too, they are a very entertaining read.

Issue three is well underway. The feedback so far has been wonderful.

There's a competition on FaceBook that might appeal to you chaps. "The Count Rossi award to find the most inappropriate daily driver". Every entry wins a little MotorPunk sticker, and you could win a copy of issue three. More here - https://www.facebook.com/motorpunkmag/posts/2089950551090396

Have to say... really enjoyed #1 and #3 (still reading #2).

My experience of an Iceland car safari was great too... albeit ruining the tracking on the rental Suzuki was a bit disconcerting, as was losing control of the transmission after fording a river (turned out one needs to be stopped to engage low gear, and then the “reset” was on pp 374 of the 546 page manual - and not in the index...).

It would be boring if it was easy, though, right?

Issue four nearly signed off - there's going to be a Morgan on the cover and a critical commentary on where they're going now the V8 is finished.

Also - a foreign roadtrip in some terrible Russian machinery, Lancia Gamma things, a thing on Vic Reeves and a large and rather different Goodwood Revival feature that I'm particularly proud of.

Thanks to those who are reading! smile

Thanks!

Morgan now on the back cover, but the feature is longer than planned, and there's something brilliantly dreadful on the front cover smile

Richard,

Edition 4 has arrived... it features my two favourite cars, the Hillman Imp and the Morgan Plus 8.

A Gentleman Thug, given to immense erudition and wanton violence sums up the Aero Plus 8's character rather well.

How will you describe the PlusSix?

BTW, I tried to sign up for another year but it won't let me start with issue 5.... needs some attention, I think.
