Today, I completly disassembled the Compensator, and found this parts :

what seems to be exactly an
Harley Compensator sprocket Kit 25 Tooth you can buy on ebay from after market supplier for around 120-150€ ... Mounting this should bring you to the status the Compensator had when it was new...
But I'm afraid that didn't solve the problem in general because the noise comes from the bearing clearance between the main shaft and the flying slider , what would happen again after some 1000km...

having a closer look to the teeth flanks of the flying wheel , shows an advanced pitting ...

so the compenstor set is worn after 8500km ...., replacing it by the aftermarket kit will bring me back to that situation shortly, so it would a cheap (and fast - the kit is available on a HD dealer close to my home) , but non durable , solution ...
Looking for the HD compensator kits I found also an
'compensator eliminator' , that would fit also in the M3W Compensator Housing, and would 'shortcut' the compensator. All the torsion damping has to be done afterwards by the Jurid Coupling (part 20 page 16 of the part book) - what seems to be very close to the KH solution .
Another really interesting thing I found is an
BDL 25T Compensator Sprocket Kit for most Harley 99-06 Big Twins what should solve all the (noise) problems the original HD compensator has without shortcutting the compensator, it seems to fit (25 tooth) to the original M3W compensator housing and it costs around 100$ ....
