I was reading a thread the other day about how long you M3W guys can drive on the 'bench seat' for... it seemed problematic on a long trip...?
Got me wondering... can a conventional bucket seat be fitted?

If you have tiny hips and you could find a tiny little seat then, yes.

any conventional seat can be fitted ... when the driver is shorter than 150cm and weights less than 50kg ... ;-)

I find the seats are surprisingly comfortable, if you raise the front edge up by about 40 or 50mm with a block of wood underneath. It's not like you are going to be sliding from side to side on the 'bench seat". What tires you on a longer run isn't the seats as much as just getting battered by the airflow. A full width screen, such as the Fairbourne , helps but it's never going to be good.

Raising the front of the seats will improve the leg room for the driver. Passenger is fine without. I would also use the space under the driver's seat for documents like the owner's manual, registration, and necessary legal papers in a water proof bag as there just isn't much space anywhere else for that stuff!
The seats are fine. The biggest problem is that the swing arm for the rear wheel is just about at the same point as your hips! You hit something and it will be transmitted to your joints and flesh. A few pot holes, frost heaves or whatever will try to rearrange your internal organs! The suspension is hard, read 'normal' for a Morgan.
My tag line for a time was: "I bought a British hand-built barely street legal race car. What was I thinking?"
I was not far off. When your bumm goes numb, it's time to take a break...
What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.

I just ordered a custom kit from Morgans West in Los Angeles. They rip out the center tunnel and significantly narrow it. It makes it a lot more comfortable.

Is the Morgans West one the same as the Morgan Park (Hamburg) one? ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2019/08/23/Screen-Shot-2019-08-23-at-15.38.39.png)
