Raising the front of the seats will improve the leg room for the driver. Passenger is fine without. I would also use the space under the driver's seat for documents like the owner's manual, registration, and necessary legal papers in a water proof bag as there just isn't much space anywhere else for that stuff! I'm new here and will buy soon my M3W, and reading your comments, a couple of questions pop-up: 1 - How do you rise the front of the seat? You need to place a spacer (as a wood block I just read) underneath? 2 - If you place your documents underneath - nice idea to hide them there - what happens if you have (I will) heated seats? Thanks

I was reading a thread the other day about how long you M3W guys can drive on the 'bench seat' for... it seemed problematic on a long trip...?
Got me wondering... can a conventional bucket seat be fitted?
Pete, another thing to consider is weight. MMC tries to cut the weight wherever possible and regular bucket seats weigh considerably more than the MMC cushion.
