Don't worry it's like Rodger says.
Stefan I looked at the wiring diagram again and there does appear to be two alternative connections for the windscreen washer. The colours on the wiring diagram a LGB and B: that is Light Green Black for the power to the washer and Black for the earth.

As shown here. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/7DUNpHt.png) Two sub looms for both brake fluid warning and screen washer. The one intended for l/h drive vehicles (brake m/cyl) is five feet long! ETA: given that screen wash pump and brake m/cylinder location are reversed to match steering position, brake warning and screen wash connections are taken to match from long and short sub looms. This would leave an unused short connection 225mm long intended for screen wash with either steering position.

Thanks everyone for your help, much appreciated . Richard you are correct I can see it now. Fresh eyes on a new day, also spotted the spade connection on the engine fan had pulled apart.going to have to lengthen the wires,they are Far to tight.Rog I think you had a similar problem on a previous thread. Aren't Morgan's fun?

Aren't Morgan's fun? Yes this post here. Mine were really tight so had to extend too. Despite cleaning the spades I could see them arcing through their translucent covers when the fan was switched.
