Dear All
Do any of you have a rod mounted rear view mirror, like they use on classic MG's, and if so have you managed to stop it vibrating. All I can see is a fuzzy blurred view behind me and it is driving me nuts.

Have you got space to re-mount it with some thin rubber like bike innertube between the surfaces ?

I had a rod mirror supplied by the MMC, alas i could never get it to stop vibrating, so swapped it out for a Simmonds branded Machiel Kalf mirror which is excellent. Not a very helpful post I'm afraid as I suspect it is NLA. Here is a thread about them http://www.talkmorgan.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/52698/Re_Rear_view_mirror_seen_at_Br

I have a rod mirror from John Worrall (Heart of England), no problem with vibration. I wonder if yours is not set correctly under the screen?
