That is a lovely colour combo made all the more mody by the shadows etc. At first those wheels looked odd but now I really like them on the Plus 8/Roadster shape.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

James,
I do feel that Sir and Lady James suit the owners of your glorious car. We look forward to meeting you both again!

Well, Yesterday to be accurate. September 1st was the White Horse Classic and Vintage Show, organised by the Lions of Westbury and Trowbridge. We left bright and early, arrived to join the question of people exhibiting their cars. This is Tarka glowing in the sun.... ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2019/09/02/3B95CFC9-B8B2-4EA8-B7CD-4A8281100E6C.jpg) A glorious day, 350 cars ranging from the 1920s to the 1980s. Just 3 Morgans, Tarka, a 1972 4/4 4 Seater, TCP 703L, A 1992 4/4, K470 TKN and a local dealer with a +4. This is an event to consider attending in mass next year, the organisers would be happy to have a Morgan group. About 4000 people paid to go and see the cars: a wonderful day wandering and talking to owners.

What a perfect day....for almost anything!
Uu, up and away at 9am to drive to meet Peter Ballard, my drive took me across Salisbury Plain: driving quite swiftly along the A360 past Westdown Camp I was startled by a sudden loud noise just behind me. It sounded as if the car was falling to bits! Nothing behind me, then I looked up. At above 200ft was a helicopter: not a type I recognised, it was painted dark blue on the upper surfaces, the underside was white. A few seconds later a second one buzzed me. Past, they climbed up to about 500ft, they didn't look very military, no bumps and lumps. There has been a lot of activity. on the Plain recently, Boris was there yesterday.
Anyway, the rest of the trip was a joy, arrived early for a Mug of tea, before going out with Peter so he could review and assess Tarka's ride and suspension. I'd always considered it OK, a bit harsh over small bumps, perhaps. But a ride in PB's "Molly", now owned by my Pal Ian, showed me just how goof the ride in a Trad can be, with 5 Link rear and the SSL from end. More about Peter's analysis later, but it was very instructive to listen to his post ride analysis.
You can read about the Buckland, the three wheeler that has replaced Molly, elsewhere!
The run back was just as goo as the run out, we have to enjoy the summer as much as possible, Autumn isn't far away!

I would be interested to know whether the three wheeler is the same one my friend Dick Buckland designed and manufactured?
