Appreciate your help.
Getting the S1 out of the barn for Goodwood this morning, I found the battery flat as I had not properly plugged the charger in. So I decided to use jump leads off our VW. As I was about to start the car I noticed neat petrol gushing from the swaged fitting on the end of the stainless braided flexible fuel supply pipe running from bottom of the engine bay up to the engine. It was not at all obvious that there is any screwed fitting that could have worked loose and indeed where the petrol is leaking from other than around the swaged fitting somewhere. Has anyone else experienced a fuel leak in this area? Obviously reluctant to try starting the car in case of a catastrophe, so unfortunately now going to be heading for Goodwood in the Evoque.
Appreciate you thoughts
Graham

Have not experienced myself, however some years ago at MOG 15 in Wales a S1 owner was chatting about his car and he had just had a serious fuel leak in the engine bay. Fuel lines had to be replaced. I believe Techniques did the repair.

Folks,
Thanks for the tips. Given the proximity of the line to the battery, I think it is a job to seek help from James at Techniques. Meanwhile, the Goodwood revival was amazing (my first trip), even if we had travel in non Morgan transport.
